Dylan: Okay. Let's see where we are. We could move this, get rid of that, kill that.

That kind of freaks me out. Don't need her. We can get rid of that.

That's done. Okay, we could start with this. I know it's a hard-hitting piece,

but come on, you guys, it's the Internet. We need traffic, traffic, traffic.

          What do you got?

*Freak out on drugs.

/My parents really freaked (out) when they saw my purple hair.

/This ordinary quiet guy just freaked out and shot ten people.

/The photocopier's freaked out again.

/Snakes really freak him out.

/A hard-hitting speech/report.

/He struck an attitude of defiance with a typically hard-hitting speech.

*= What have we got?

/*have / have got

I’ve got a lot of work to do.

Have you got a match?

He hasn’t got enough money.

미국 구어에서는 have got have까지 생략한 got 의 형태로도 쓴다.

I got a right to know. haven’t I ?

He got a nice house.

You got a match?

Got a sec? (Do you have a second? = Have you got a second? = Do you got a second?)

He’s got a blind eye. (X) à He has a blind eye.

He’s got a black eye. (O) à

Lorna:  How about this?

Dylan:  It's perfect. Now, doesn't she look smart and

           knowledgeable about immigration reform?

All:  Yeah.

Dylan:  Yeah, yeah. She does, right? I'm fucking with you people. This isn't a porn site.

What are we, nerds trying to look at boobies? Come on, Keep looking. Shit! Hello?

Jamie:  Hey! Baby, where are you? Are you still at work?

Dylan:  No! Not even close.

Jamie:  Just so you know, the movie starts in 10 minutes.

Dylan:   I know! Give me your pants.

Male Co-Worker:  What? ?

Dylan:  I'll buy you lunch tomorrow. Come on.

어서.

Male Co-Worker:  No. 안돼.

Dylan:  I'm your boss. Give me your pants.

Jamie:  Please try not to be late. I really hate missing the beginning.

Dylan:  I know. I know. Give me your pants. I'm coming, baby. I'm almost there!

Jamie:  How far away?

Dylan:  I think I see you!

Jamie:  Where are you? I'm here.

Dylan:  So am I. So many people. What are you wearing?

Jamie:  I'm wearing the only clothes outside the theater,

because I'm the only person outside the theater!

Dylan:  I love that outfit. You look so sexy in that.

Jamie:  You know that I love this movie.

If a prostitute and a ruthless businessman can fall in love, then anyone can.

Dylan:  I know this means a lot to you, which means it means a lot to me.

Jamie:  Well, apparently it doesn't.

Dylan:  I'm looking at you right now. I can see you!

Quincy:  Jamie!

Jamie:  Hey!

Quincy:  Hey.

Jamie:  You made it.

/We bid game and made it.

/It was a terrible journey but we finally made it.

/I can’t make it.

Quincy:   Yeah. Hey. 그래.

Jamie:   Hi.

Quincy:  Sorry I'm late.

Jamie:   It's okay. I got us sandwiches. I got you turkey, no cheese, gluten-free bread.

*A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes foods containing gluten. Gluten is a protein found in wheat (including kamut and spelt), barley, rye, malts and triticale. It is used as a food additive in the form of a flavoring, stabilizing or thickening agent, often as "dextrin". A gluten-free diet is the only medically accepted treatment for celiac disease, the related condition dermatitis herpetiformis, and wheat allergy.

Quincy:  You sure this was prepared in a nut-free facility?

Jamie:  Yes, I'm full aware of your allergies.

Dylan:  Hey, I'm here! I'm here. I'm really sorry.

Kayla:  We missed Your Body Is a Wonderland.

‘ Your Body Is a Wonderland’

Dylan:  Okay. Only one song. That's not so bad, right?

Kayla:  It was fucking Your Body ls a Wonderland!

        빌어먹을 ‘ Your Body Is a Wonderland’였다니까!

Dylan:  Well, the good news is, he has so many good ones.

Kayla:  Here's an idea: next time, instead of being late, just shit on my face.

'Cause that's kind of the same thing as missing Your Body ls a Wonderland.

그게 ‘ Your Body Is a Wonderland’ 놓치는 거나 다름 없거든.

Jamie:  Okay, come on.

We really gotta go in. Julia Roberts is about to put on her really tall boots.

*(구어·비어) got a 또는 got to를 발음대로 철자한 것. 여기서는 got to(=have to)

Quincy:  We need to talk.

Kayla:  I think we should take a break.

Quincy:  I just feel like we should chill for a while, you know?

Jamie:   You're doing this?

Dylan:  You're breaking up with me?

Jamie:  You said I was your soul mate.

Quincy:  I did? When? 언제?

Jamie:  When we were at that bed and breakfast having sex.

약어 b and b, b & b

Quincy:   But, you know, that doesn't...

Jamie:  That doesn't what?

Quincy:  Count.

*What counts is the quality of our life.

Dylan:  I was tied up at work. I'm sorry.

*I was tied up in traffic.

/Your boyfriend might get tied up.

Kayla:  Maybe you should care a little bit less about work and a little more about the girl

that you're dating. 'Cause last time I checked, work doesn't reassure you that liking

a finger up your ass doesn't make you gay.

Dylan:  I never said "go up." Okay? I just said lightly around... It's like a little button.

You know what? Not your issue any more.

Jamie:  Is this why you were late? You were worried about how to break up with me?

Quincy:  Oh, no, no. I was trying to decide what to wear.

Jamie:   So, you went with sneakers and a hoodie.

Quincy:  Yeah. .

Jamie:  What, are you gonna take the SATs after this?

Quincy:  Don't lash out, okay? You're better than that.

Jamie:   I'm really not.

Kayla:  I just think we're heading in different directions.

Dylan:  Yeah, you to the John Mayer concert and me not.

Thank you for doing this before the concert, by the way. Best breakup ever.

Kayla:  He is the Sheryl Crow of our generation!

*Sheryl Suzanne Crow (born February 11, 1962) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, musician, and actress. Her music incorporates elements of rock, folk, hip hop, country and pop. She has won nine Grammy Awards from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences

Jamie:   Let me just ask you a quick question.

And just know that I am not at all crushed by this breakup. So, be honest. Why?

Quincy:   Wait, is this a trick?

Jamie:   No. Just pure anthropological research.

Quincy:  Okay. You want someone to sweep you off your feet,

but you're more interested in getting swept off your feet than the someone

             who's doing the sweeping.

You seem like you've got it totally together, but you're actually really emotionally

damaged. Also, you have, like, really big eyes, and that freaks me out sometimes...

*sweep (or carry or knock) off someone's feet: Overwhelm someone emotionally; infatuate someone; make a very favorable impression on someone; To cause them to lose control of their thoughts, and especially to fall uncontrollably in love.

*get[put] it (all) together together편안하게 지내다, 건전하고 착실하게 살다./혼란에서 헤어나다, 냉정을 되찾다./근사한 몸매를 가지다.

Jamie:   Thank you. That's enough.

Kayla:  It is not you at all.

Dylan:  Of course it's me! You can't say that. You're breaking up with me!

Kayla:  It's not. It's me. I don't like you anymore.

Quincy:  This is my fault. You deserve better than me.

Kayla:  You're a great guy. A little too emotionally unavailable, if you ask me.

*The term "emotionally unavailable" usually refers to those who create barriers between themselves and others in an effort to avoid emotional intimacy.

Dylan:  I didn't.

Quincy:  I really want to stay friends.

Quincy:  Let's stay friends.

Jamie:   Sure.

Dylan:  Totally.

Kayla:  John Mayer. John fucking Mayer!

Quincy:  Come here, you. You're gonna get through this.

*Marriage includes a promise to make every effort to get through the rough times.

Dylan:  Why do relationships always start off so fun and then turn into suck-a-bag-o-dicks?

*=to be displeasing

/To be caught in traffic behind a smelly truck filled with livestock really sucks a bag of dicks!

Jamie:   I really have to stop buying into this bullshit Hollywood cliché of true love.

Shut up, Katherine Heigl! You stupid liar!

Dylan:  I'm just gonna work and fuck. Like George Clooney.

Jamie:   I'm just gonna shut myself down emotionally. Like George Clooney.
