  표현합니다. 각각 확신의 강도가 다릅니다.
  He was sick. 그 사람 아팠어.(100% 확신)
  He must have been sick.틀림없이 아팠어.(90% 이상의 강한 확신)
  He may/might/could have been sick. 아팠을 수도 있어/아팠을 지도 몰라(50%정도 확신) 

   하지만 과거의 사실을 아니라고 추측 할 때는 좀 다릅니다.
  He didn't study.공부 안했어 (100% 부정)
  He couldn't/can't have studied.공부 했을리 없어(90% 이상)
  He mustn't have studied. 틀림없이 안했어(역시 90% 이상)
  He may/might not have studied. 안했을거야.(50%정도,반신반의) 

          So that means it is no longer your job to try to make her like you. 
          더 이상 당신에게 호감을 가지게 할 필요는 없습니다.
          It is your job not to mess it up.  실수만 안 하면 됩니다. 
 *If you mess something up or mess up, you cause something to fail or be spoiled.  

          Uh? 그래요?
Alex     Shoes are hot. 구두에 신경 많이 쓰세요. 
 *hot; Requiring immediate attention . 

           You went to the place I told you, right?  
           제가 말한 가게에 갔겠죠?
Man3    Yeah, but I don't think they are really me. 
            예, 근데 나랑 안 어울리는 거 같아서요... 
 *I don't think they are really me ; I don't think I look good in them( or they become me well).
  He probably feels uncomfortable in the shoes.

Alex      "You" is a very fluid concept right now. 
             이젠 당신은 당신이 생각하는 대로 되는 겁니다. 
 *fluid concept ; A fluid concept is a concept  which cannot be precisely  defined. 
  so he means "you are going through some transition, so the old you and new you are different." 
             You bought the shoes. 이 구두는 당신이 샀고
             You look great in the shoes. 구두가 너무 잘 어울리는 겁니다.
             That's the "you" that I am talking about. 
             지금 말한 게 바로 당신 모습입니다.
             Now the key tonight is "hang back".
             오늘밤 중요한 건 적당히 뒤에서 움직이는 겁니다.
*hang back;  Be reluctant to move ahead / move or stay slightly behind a person. 
                      여기선 Don’t be too eager or overbearing. 
                  Sit back / take it casual / play it cool,
                       즉 나대지 말고 침착히 행동하라는 말. 

               Give her plenty of space.  그녀와 충분한 간격을 두세요.  
                ( = Don’t smother her / give her some room / don’t be clingy)

               If she lingers at a photograph, 사진 앞에 서성이면
               move on. 계속 가세요.
               But maintain the visual.  하지만 시야에서 놓쳐선 안되죠. 
 *maintain the visual ; stay within sight of her 
   Keep an eye on her / keep her in sight / make sure you don’t lose her 

              All right now. It's supposed to be 64 F and clear tonight. 
              So when you leave the club, walk a little. 
              좋아요, 오늘밤 18도에 맑을 거라고 하니, 클럽을 나오면 좀 걸으세요.
              Ask her what she thought about the show. 
              What was her favorite photograph? Why that one?
              물어 보세요, 전시는 어땠는지, 제일 맘에든 사진이 뭔지,
              왜 맘에 들었는지... 
              And when she answers, don't be looking at her mouth. 
              Don't be wondering what she looks like naked.
              그녀가 대답할 때 입술을 쳐다보거나 벗은 모습을 상상하지 마세요.
              Listen to what she is saying and respond.
              그녀가 하는 말에 귀 기울이고 반응을 보이세요.

Woman     What was your favorite one?  뭐가 제일 맘에 들었어요?
Man3    The, uh... Elephant, definitely. Yeah. 
            그야...당연히 코끼리 사진이죠...그럼요..
Alex     And all of a sudden, we're on Date Number Two. 
            그러면 졸지에 두 번째 데이트로 넘어가는 거죠.
