Susan:  God. My life is a disaster.

Nancy:  No, it's not.

Susan:  I'm 40, I live by myself. I haven’t been in a real relationship since Jerry left me 3

years ago.

Nancy:  Jerry was a jackass.

Susan:  I mean, when I gave up teaching to join the CIA, I thought everything was

going to be different. I thought I was going to be this amazing spy. I'm just the same boring person I was before.

Nancy:  Well, for what it's worth. I think you're brilliant as you are. You're exciting. You

know what? You played it too safe.

*for what it's[it may be] worth

/Here's my advice, for what it's worth.

Susan:  I don't know. Maybe you're right. I just... I still… you know… hear my mom's

voice. “Well behave women often make history.”

Nancy:  Yes, you do know the phrase is "Well behaved women seldom... make history."

Susan:  Yeah, that's never how she said it.

Nancy:  What were her others?

Susan:  Oh, just blend in. Let somebody else win.

Nancy:  Classic. Yup. 그래.

Susan:  I got that a lot in my schools. And there was a "Give up on your dreams, Susan."

She used to write that in my lunch box.

Nancy:  Oh. I mean, look. Okay. What's really so different between us and Karen Walker?

Susan:  I think… I think literally. Everything.

Nancy:  No, hang on. No. Because you were just as good as her at the Academy.

Susan:  She’s had more successful missions than even Fine.

Nancy:  Oh. She's the worst. Look at her. She thinks he's so perfect, doesn't she? “Oh, hi.

I'm Karen Walker, Super spy.”. Perfect hair. Perfect face. She probably cries

herself to sleep every night.

Susan:  I don't think she probably does.

Nancy:  She probably does. And not like sort of cute, little tears. Like, really, sort of, you

know, silent kind of thing.

Susan:  I don' think that’s what… 설마

Nancy:  Like sort of upside down kidney bean. “This is what I look like when I'm asleep.”

Susan:  Shh shh, shut up. Be quiet. , 조용.

Nancy:  She won't know who we are. She's so full of herself.

*She is so full of herself.

Karen:  Hi. Hey Nancy. Hi Susan.

Susan& Nancy:  Hi.

Karen:  Hi.

Karen:  Look at you, two cuties sitting here being all cute.

Susan:   Aw!  Oh, you.

Karen:  Can I have an Old Fashioned, please?

Nancy:  The service is really slow.

Susan:   Super slow.

Nancy:  Good luck getting that in the next hour.

Alan:  Here you go, Miss Walker.

Karen:  Thank you.

Susan:   Oh.

Nancy:  Wow.

Karen:  Alan and I go way back. I come here all the time.

*we go way back; meaning you've known someone for a long time.

Susan:   So do we. Right, Alan? Hey, Alan. How... Alan.

Nancy:  Big A. Big A.

Susan:   Yoo-hoo, Al! We got a whole… 우리

Alan:  Miss Walker.  Are these 2 bothering you?

Karen:  Oh no. Thank you, they're fine.

Alan:  Okay.

Susan& Nancy:  Alan.

Karen:  He's the sweetest.

Susan:   He just pretends not to know. It’s a game.

Nancy:  He's funny.

Karen:  Yeah, well. Anyway, I'm taking some time off. So I'll see you guys when I get

back.

*After taking some time off, they began working on their first full-length album, which they finished early this year.

Susan:   Oh.

Nancy:  Where're you going?

Karen:  Capri.

Nancy:  Capri.

Susan:   Capri.

Karen:  I wish I could just stick around here, you know, curl up with a good book. But,

I have a yacht full of friends waiting for me.

*Stick around here a bit longer. We might need you later.

/You can go out to play as long as you stick around.

/I can't stick around.

*My idea of a good time is to curl up with a good book and a chocolate bar.

/When people curl up with a jukbuin, it helps them forget the sultry heat while sleeping, he said.

Susan:   Wow.

Karen:  Anyhoo. I'll see you guys when I get back. All freckled and tanned.

*A really irritating, corny way of saying anyhow.

Susan:   We're gonna see you.

Nancy:  Yeah.

Karen:  Bye.

Susan:   Bye.

Nancy:  Oh, sorry. Susan's ill. It's her stomach.

Susan:   My god. Thank you for that. Why would you do that?

Nancy:  I'm sorry, I panicked.

Susan:   What a great moment. Just look at her.

Nancy:  Oh, I know. That dress.

Susan:   Look at that confidence. You are not even allowed to smoke in here. I'm gonna

go home.

Nancy:  No, come on.

Susan:   Yes.

Nancy:  Susan.

Susan:   Sorry.  실례.

Karen:  Feel better.

Susan:   Oh, thank you. Yeah.
