사랑비 삽입곡: 그 애와 나랑은

 

Yoon-Hee and In-Sook see In-Ha in the library.

In-Sook goes into descriptions of him.

 

황인숙: 그리고 가장 중요한 서인하.

Most importantly, there’s Seo In Ha.

신비로운 외모에 부드러운 카리스마의 미대생.

A mysterious art student with a soft kind of charisma.

그야말로 킹카지.  He’s such a hottie.

워낙 엄한 집안이라서 He’s from a very strict family.

소문엔 정혼자도 있대. I heard he even has a fiancée.

 

김윤희: 그래? 정말 정혼자가 있대?

Really? He really has a fiancée?

 

In-ha interrupts their conversation.

서인하: 없어요. 정혼자 없어요.

I don’t. I don’t have a fiancée.

 

황인숙: 어떡해! Oh, no!

우리한테 왜 그런 거지?

Why did he just do that?

관심 있나? Is he interested?

 

 

It’s raining outside and both In-ha and Yoon-hee are caught without an umbrella.

서인하: 저기…잠깐만 기다리세요.

Excuse me…just wait here for a sec.

 

He rushes inside the library.

He runs back outside, umbrella in hand, and unfolds it.

 

서인하: 저기…가죠? Well…should we go?

 

김윤희: 저기…제가 한 말 아니에요. Umm…I didn’t say it.

아까 그 정혼자.  I mean the fiancée.

 

서인하: 아, 없어요. Ah, I don’t have one.

그런 거 없어요. I don’t have any fiancée.

그쪽이 한 말 아닌 거 알아요.

I know that you didn’t say it.

 

김윤희: 네. OK.

 

By the end of their walk he’s pretty much only holding the umbrella over her

while he gets soaked from head to toe.

김윤희: 그럼 안으로 좀 더 들어와요.

Then come in a bit closer.

혹시… 좋아하세요? Do you happen to like …it?

비, 좋아하세요? Rain, do you like it?

 

서인하: 예, 좋아해요. Yeah, I like rain.

비를 보면 슬프기도 하고 행복하기도 하고.

When I see the rain, I get sad or happy.

 

김윤희: 저두…I feel the same…

아까 그 책… That book…

 

서인하: 어린 왕자요? The little prince?

 

김윤희: 그 작가의 시에 이런 구절이 있어요…

In his poem, there’s this stanza…

사랑은 행복과 슬픔이라는 두 가지 얼굴을 하고 있다.

Love has two faces of happiness and sadness.

사랑과 비가 닮은 거 같아요.

I think love and rain are similar to each other.
