Po: How was that? 어땠어요?
Li: Now you try again but don't try so hard. 다시 하는데 너무 무리하진 말고.
Po: OK, OK. 네, 네.
Li: Much better. 훨 낫네.
Po: Thanks, dad. 고마워요, 아빠.
Li: For what? 뭐가?
Po: You know, just for you know, showing me what it feels like... to be a panda. So
when do you think I'll be ready?

Po: You know, learn how to master chi. 네, 기 터득하는 법 배우는 거요.
Li: Soon, real soon. Come on. I wanna show you something else. Come on. Sorry about
the mess, I don't usually get visitors.
곧 된단다, 곧. 가자. 보여줄 게 있어. 어서. 엉망이구나. 찾아 오는 손님이 없어서.
Po: Is this my mom? 이분이 엄마에요?
Li: I had this done on your one hundredth day. Your mama couldn't hold you still. You
nearly eat the paper. It's true.
백일 되는 날 그렸단다. 엄마는 널 가만히 있게 할 수가 없었지. 네가 종이까지
먹을 뻔했어. 사실이란다.
*사역동사 make /let /have
사역동사 다음에 오는 목적어 목적 보어(서로 주어+동사의 관계임)가 능동의 관계이면
목적보어 자리에 동사원형(Root)을 쓰고 수동의 관계이면 과거분사(p.p)를 쓴다.
/ I had the man repair my car. = I had my car repaired by the man
; 사역동사 have의 특별한 용도
사역동사 have는 자신이 직접 어떤 일을 하는 것이 아니라 다른 사람을 시켜서 그 일을
한다는 것을 나타낼 때 아주 자주 쓰이는 표현이다.
/I pulled out my tooth at the dentist's. (×)-> I had my tooth pulled out at the dentist's. (O)

Po: Dad, you don't have to worry about losing me ever again, OK?
아빠, 다시는 절 잃을 걱정 안 하셔도 돼요. 네?
Panda villager: Let me get some of that. 나도 끼워 주라.
