Ogre#2: Hey, it's a new guy! 야, 새로 온 친구네!
Ogre#3: Look at him, all dressed up in his Sunday vest.
이 친구 보게, 쫙 빼 입었네.
*in one’s Sunday best(나들이옷을 입고)를 가지고 말장난(pun)한 것.
/ She got all dressed up in her Sunday best to meet her boyfriend’s parents.
Gretched: He's really tiny, isn't he? 아주 조그만 친구네, 안 그래?
Brogan: Yeah. Fate has delivered us a comrade-in-arms and for that,
we are thankful. Suit him up!
그러게. 운명이 우리에게 전우를 보내준 거야, 그러니 감사해야지.
전투복장으로!
*a comrade in arms 전우
*suit up; to put on the clothing that you wear to do a particular job, play a sport, etc.
제복을 입다, 방구(防具)를 몸에 달다
Ogre#2: Let's go, greenie. 가자고, 친구.
Shrek: Now, wait a minute! Hey! 자, 잠깐만. 이 봐!
Brogan: Here you go. Welcome to the resistance.
자, 받아. 저항군에 온 걸 환영한다.
Shrek: Resistance? 저항군?
Brogan: We fight for freedom and ogres everywhere!
우린 자유와 동족을 위해 싸운다!
Shrek: I didn't know we could do that. 그렇게 할 수 있는지 몰랐네.
Donkey: Help! Help me! You can't eat me! I got the mange!
I'm poisonous! I'm all poi...
살려 줘! 난 못 먹어요! 옴 있다고요! 독도 있어요! 난…
Shrek: I'll take him! This order's to go.
내가 가지고 가지! 이 놈 포장해야 돼.
*For here or to go? 여기서 드실래요, 아니면 포장해 드릴까요?
Ogre#6: Hey! I haven't even removed his giblets yet.
이 봐! 아직 내장도 제거 안 했어.
Shrek: Trust me, you don't want to eat this one.
내 말 믿어. 이 건 먹을 게 못 돼.
Donkey: I go down smooth, but I come out fighting!
먹을 땐 잘 넘어가도, 화장실 갈 때 괴로워요.
*’go down smooth’ means ‘to digest smoothly’
/ come out fighting; Imagine a massive turd that was fighting to come out.
/cf.) come out fighting (British, American & Australian) also come out swinging (mainly American); if someone comes out fighting, they defend themselves or something they believe in, in a very determined way
Shrek: Let go! 놔!
Ogre#6: Don't make Mama mad. 열 받게 하지 마라.
Shrek: Your dinner is my friend! 네 저녁거리가 내 친구란 말야.
Brogan: Come on, guys! 자, 동지들!
Ogre#6: I got to get the giblets out! 내장 꺼내야 한다고!
Ogre#7: She's back. There she is. 그녀가 돌아왔다. 저기 있어.
Shrek: Fiona! I'm so happy I found you! 피오나! 이렇게 찾게 되다니 너무 기뻐.
Fiona: Maybe you missed orientation, but for future reference,
personal space is very important to me.
신병 교육을 놓쳤나 보군. 훗날을 위해 미리 말해 두는데,
개인 공간이 나한테는 아주 중요해.

Shrek: You don't know who I am, do you?
내가 누군 줄 모르는 구나.
Fiona: No. Brogan, I have news from Far Far Away.

다 모아서 작전실에서 보자.

Shrek: Fiona! 피오나!
Fiona: Gretched, make sure everyone is prepared to move out tonight.
그레칫, 오늘 밤 이동할 수 있도록 다들 준비시키도록 해.
Shrek: I need to talk to you. 얘기 좀 해.
Fiona: What is it? 무슨 얘기?
Shrek: OK, I know you don't remember me, but......we're married. Hear me out.
And at the birthday party with some pigs and a puppet,
the villagers wanted me to sign their pitchforks, and this boy kept saying,
"Do the roar." Then I punched the cakes that the pigs ate and the next thing I knew,
my donkey fell in your waffle hole. Right? Who's with me?
좋아, 날 기억 못하는 거 아는데, 우린 부부야. 내 말 끝까지 들어. 어떤 돼지들이랑
꼭두각시 인형하고 함께 한 생일파티에서, 마을 사람들이 쇠스랑에 사인 해달라고
그러고, 한 꼬마가 계속 “으르렁거려 봐” 라고 해서 내가 돼지가 먹은 케이크를
주먹으로 때려 버렸지. 그리고 나서 알고 보니 내 친구 동키가 당신이 파 놓은
와플 함정에 빠진 거야, 알겠지? 내 말 알아 들으신 분?
*Are you with me so far? 여기까지의 내 이야기를 알아들었느냐?
/Are you for it[with me] or against it[me]? 너는 이 일에[나에게] 찬성이냐 불찬성이냐?
Fiona: I guess I must have kicked him harder than I thought.
생각보다 발로 맞은 게 충격이 컸나 보네.
Shrek: Fiona, I need to... 피오나, 난…
Fiona: Witches! All right, everyone, you know the drill!
마녀들이다! 좋아, 제군들, 어떻게 하는 지 알지!
*the drill 효과적인 방법, 좋은 방법./ I know the drill. 좋은 방법을 알고 있어.
/What’s the drill? 어떻게[어떤 방법으로] 하면 되지?
Shrek: Fiona! 피오나!
Donkey: Witches! Oh, no! Witches! Witches!
마녀들! 오, 안 돼! 마녀들이다!
Shrek: Come on, now. 이리와, 어서.
Brogan: Fiona, that's the third patrol today. We can't hide forever.
피오나, 오늘만 벌써 세 번째 정찰이야. 영원히 숨어 지낼 순 없어.
Fiona: Trust me, Brogan. After tonight, we won't have to.
날 믿어, 브로간. 오늘 밤만 지나면 숨어 지낼 필요 없어.
Donkey: That's your wife? 저 여자가 네 마누라야?
Shrek: That's my wife. 내 마누라야.
Donkey: Well, I see who wears the chain mail in your family!
집에서 누가 쥐어 사는 지 알만하네.
*chain mail: armour (= covering to protect the body when fighting) made of small metal rings linked together 사슬 갑옷
*wear the trousers[pants]; especially of a woman be the partner in a marriage who makes the decisions and tells the other person what to do (아내가) 남편을 깔고 뭉개다; (가족 내에서) 결정권을 쥐다
; wears the pants in the marriage/ wears the pants in the family / wears the pants in their relationship
