[SCENE #6]

JACK:   Do you have any idea how much money I’ve made him?
You’re my lawyer. Can I sue him for something?

I´m going to sue you. /I´m going to take you to court. /You´ll be

hearing from my lawyer. /I'm going to turn you in. / I'm going to file a complaint against

you. / I'm going to file charges against you.

HATER:  Well, the problem with suing your father is that he’s your Dad.

JACK: He’d love it. He’d think we were bonding.

*I`m a 36-year-old bachelor who adores all of the bonding, caring qualities in the heart of a good woman.

/ I don't really feel like we're bonding. We don't have that special spiritual connection.

HATER:  Maybe he would be. You don’t know. Take him to court.
              It might be nice.

JACK: What am I gonna do about money?

HATER:  Wow, you’re just realizing that right now. Fascinating.

JACK:  I could do a lot of things for money. I’m good at stuff.
I’ll bet you 5 bucks that I can finish this beer faster than you.

*do ones stuff 《구어》 …

/ I'm not good at the mom stuff.

HATER:  Really? You’re on.

JOY: He doesn’t even deserve me.

TIPPER:  Here’s my thought on what we should do with this whole Mason thing.

JOY:  Okay. 그래.

TIPPER:  Once a week, we get some of my brother’s loser ass friends to go over
to Mason’s house, ring his doorbell, and when he answers, they’re just
 gonna bang -
junkpunch him right up in his man business and then he’s
 gonna
keel over. While he’s writhing on the ground screaming,
‘Why?’ They’ll go, “you know why.”

*To punch someone in the nuts.

*After a couple of drinks he just keeled over on the floor.

*She was writhing (about) on the floor in agony.

JOY: Wow, did you just think of that?

TIPPER: No, I was thinking about it a lot on the way over.

HATER: You are a child. What is that? What is that?

JACK:  Double or nothing.

*For example, if Alice loses $10 in bet 1 to Bob, and Alice calls "double or nothing" for a second wager before payment is made, then if Alice wins the "double or nothing" bet, the amount Bob owes Alice is zero, but if Bob wins the "double or nothing" bet, Alice owes Bob $20. Thus, "double or nothing" is simply a way to repeat the same bet with the same wager.

TIPPER: Joy, you are gonna need to take off this ring.

JOY: No, I’m just… I’m just gonna wear it on the other hand.

JACK: You’re on fire. You are on fire.  This is like…I mean you are lucky.

; doing very well; very enthusiastic.  Mike is on fire in his new job. He'll get promoted in no time.

HATER:  I don’t feel good.

JACK: We need to capitalize on this.

*capitalize on the government's embarrassment/on the mistakes made by a rival firm

/ trade[capitalize] on one´s beauty 미모를 팔다

TIPPER:  You know what’s going to make you feel better?

JOY: What?

JACK: Where’s the one place where you can step up and be a man.

HATER: Community college?

TIPPER:  Where can you go where you can forget all your troubles
and act like a total idiot?

JACK: I’m talking about one place and one place only, my friend.

JOY: Do not say Vegas.

HATER: Please say Vegas.

TIPPER:  Vegas Baby!

JOY: Vegas?

HATER: Las Vegas?

JACK: what?

TIPPER: Swish it around in your mouth a little bit and think about it.

*Swish whiskey around in your mouth without swallowing.

/He gulped down a glass of beer.

/He sat at the table sipping his coffee.

/He slurped (down) his soup greedily.

JOY:  Vegas!

TIPPER: Vegas.

JOY:  Carefree.

JACK: Say it like you mean it.

JOY: Spontaneous~

JACK: I can’t hear you!

All: Vegas~
