어린 강동석: 이거 내 책 아닌데. This isn’t my book.

새 책인데 이거는.  It’s brand new.

 

어린 차해원: 오빠야 니 책은 내가 이자무갔고 새 책으로 다시 샀다.

I lost yours, so I bought a new one.

 

어린 강동석: 나는 니한테 책을 빌려준 적이 없는데.

But I never lent any books to you.

 

어린 차해원: 어?  그기…  Huh?  Well…

우짜다가 오빠야 니 방에 잠깐 들어갔는데…

I kind of ended up in your room…

*He ended up in jail. 그는 마지막에는 교도소 신세를 지게 되었다.

어린 강동석: 읽을 시간도 없고.  I didn’t have the time to read it.

읽을 가치도 없어서. And it’s not worth reading.

 

 

어린 차해원: 그거 내가…That letter…

      자존심 상하고 쪽 팔리는 거 참으면서 얼마나 힘들고 어렵게 쓴 편진지 아나?

Do you know how humiliating it was for me to actually write that letter?
