이사하기 Moving

며칠 전 지방의 한적한 곳으로 이사를 왔습니다 I’ve just moved into a quiet and peaceful place. 이사하는 것을 별로 좋아하지 않지만 늘 바쁘게 움직이던 서울 생활을 접고 자연을 더 많이 접하고 싶어 마음의 결단을 내린 것이지요 I don’t really like moving but I decided to give up that hectic life in Seoul and commune with nature. 일단 집이 넓어져 좋고 넓은 거실 창으로 확 트인 풍경을 볼 수 있어 너무 좋습니다 It’s really good to have an open-plan living room which commands a fine view. 대부분 도시 분들이 가격이 오를만한 곳, 좋은 학교에서 가까운 곳, 지하철역에서 가까운 곳으로 이사하시지만 전 다시 친한 친구, 형제들이 사는 곳 가까이 왔습니다. Most of the people living in a big city are finding a spot that will go up in value or a spot that is near good schools and subways but I moved to be closer to my old friends and siblings.

 

서울 생활이 그리워 질 수도 있겠지요 Maybe I will miss Seoul some time in the

future. 하지만 친구들도 자주 보게 될 거고 Now I can see my close friends

more often 다시는 멀리 이사 갈 일이 없었으면 합니다 and I don’t want to move

away from them again.

혼자 사니 넓어진 집에서 할 일이 많습니다 This spacious house gives me a lot of house chores to do since I live alone. 일단 바꾸고 고칠 일 리스트를 만들어 봅니다 First I make a list of improvements and changes I want done. 정말 집안 일은 해도 해도 끝이 없는 것 같습니다 It really seems like you never run out of work to do at a home. 우선 순위를 매기고 가장 급한 것부터 해야겠죠 You should prioritize them and address the high priority ones first.
