Spike        Hi. Hey. You couldn’t help me with an incredibly important decision, could you?

* ‘At last’ means ‘finally’ or ‘in the end’, so don’t mix up with ‘after all’, which means ‘in

spite of what was said before’ or ‘we mustn’t forget that…’.

/ Help has come at last. 마침내 도움의 손길이 뻗쳐 왔다.

/ After all, what does it matter? 어찌되었건, 이게 뭐가 문제가 되지?

그에 관해서는 네가 틀렸어. 그는 역시 미국인이 아니야.

 

William      What are the choices? 뭘 골랐는데?

Spike        Well…wait for it… 자, 기다려…

Spike        First there’s this one… 먼저 이걸 골랐는데…

Spike        Uh, Cool, huh? 어, 좋아?

William      Yeah, it might make it hard to strike a really romantic note.

                  응, 로맨틱한 분위기를 주긴 힘들 것 같은데.

그 기사는 대단히 비관적인 견해를 피력했다.

                  I believe I have just the thing.

*I take your point = Point taken 알았다, 네 말대로다.

*I have just the thing. This cruise stops at four different cities.
"바로 그런 게 하나 있는데, 도시 네 군데를 경유합니다."

/ I know just the thing to cheer you up. 난 널 기분 좋게 만드는 걸 알아.

 

William      Yeah, well, there again, she might not think you had true love on your mind.

                 음, 역시나, 너한테 진실한 사랑 따윈 없다고 생각할 걸.

Spike        Right. Just one more. 그래. 그럼 하나만 더.

Spike        True love! Here I come! 진실한 사랑! 여기 내가간다!

William      Well, yes, yeah, that’s, that’s, um, perfect.

                  그래, 좋아, 음, 완벽해.

Spike        Great. Thanks. Wish me luck. 됐어. 고마 워. 행운을 빌어 줘.

William      Good Luck. 잘 해 봐.
