Me Ahri’s at Jung rok’s bar waiting for Yoon.

 

정록: 누구 기다려?  Waiting for someone?

 

메아리: 알 거 없잖아요?   You don’t need to know.

 

정록: 딱 바람맞은 표정인데. 

You look like you were stood up.

혹시 윤이 기다리냐?

You must be waiting for Yoon, right?

 

메아리: 뭐, 부정적인 답변은 안 할게요.

Well, I won’t say no.

 

정록: 네가 이러니까 바람을 맞는 거야.

This is why you’re getting stood up.

원래 누굴 기다릴 때 일수록 비싼 거 시켜놓고,

When you wait for someone, you should order something expensive,

폼나게 기다려야지. and wait in luxury.

그게 뭐냐?  What is this?

너네 스승님은 깔았다면 19년 산인데.

Your teacher always orders expensive bottles.

뭘 배운 거야 대체?

What did you learn from her?

 

메아리: 됐구요. Enough.

이거 리필 해주세요.  Please refill this.

성택아, 손님 나가신단다.

Seong Taek, she’s leaving.

 

 

 

Jung Rok calls Yoon to inform him that Me Ahri is waiting for him at the bar.

 

윤: 어, 잠깐만.   Yes, hold on.

메아리 혼자?  Me Ah Ri’s alone?

 

정록: 그래, 자기 혼자야. Yeah, she’s by herself.

하염없이 술잔만 바라보며 처연하게 누군가를 기다리고 있는데,

She’s staring at the glass and waiting for someone.

그게 난 왜 너인 거 같지?

Why do I get a feeling that it’s you.

 

윤: 그래서?  So what?

 

정록: 나 약속 생겨서 나가야 되거든.

I have to leave soon.

근데 저렇게 계속 기다리게 냅둬도 되나 싶어서.

Can I just leave her here waiting?

 

윤: 네 손님을 왜 나한테 물어?

She’s your customer.

네가 알아서 해. You take care of her.

 

정록: 양주 안 딴 손님은 제 손님 아니거든요.

A customer who doesn’t order a bottle is no customer of mine.

 

윤: 태산이한테 전화해. 끊는다.

Call Tae san. I’m hanging up.
