Jack : You look cold. 추워 보여요.
Lucy : Hm?

Lucy : Hm? What... Probably because I am cold. How about you?
추우니까 그렇죠. 당신은 요?
Jack : This jacket's reversible. I'm wearin' the warm side now.
이 자켓은 양면으로 입을 수 있어요. 따뜻한 쪽으로 입었거든요.

Lucy : He passed away. 돌아 가셨어요.
Jack : Sorry. 미안해요.
Lucy : It's not your fault. He passed away last year. I don't even remember my mom.
당신 잘못도 아닌데. 작년에 돌아 가셨어요. 엄만 기억도 안 나요.
Jack : Well, what was he like? 아버진 어떤 분이셨죠?
Lucy : He was a lot like me. Dark hair, flat chest.
나랑 많이 비슷했죠. 짙은 머리에, 절벽 가슴에.
Jack : Well, what do you remember most about him?
제일 생각나는 건요?
Lucy : Oh, that! Okay. Um, well...he liked maps.
아, 그거요! 아빤 지도를 좋아했어요.
Jack : Yeah, I live by maps. My truck's filled with'em. Hm.
네, 나도 지도 없인 못 살죠. 트럭에 가득해요.
Lucy : He used to hear of a place on the TV... We would pull out the atlas,
we'd find where it was, and we'd route out this, like, little way to get there.
티브이에서 어떤 장소가 나오면, 지도책을 꺼내 들고는, 그게 어딨는지 찾아내곤 했어요.
그리고 거기로 가는 길을 알아내곤 했죠.

Lucy : Florence. 피렌체요.

Jack : Italy. Ooh, I haven't delivered any furniture to Florence yet, but I'm told it's nice.

Lucy : Yeah. 네.
Jack : I take it you've never been there. 아직 가보시진 않았죠.

난 네가 소피의 파티에 오지 않을 거라고 생각해
Lucy : Well, you know the El doesn't exactly make it all the way to Florence.
So, you know.... Oh, but I do have my passport.
시카고 전철이 피렌체까진 가지 않죠. 그래도 난 여권은 있어요.

대단하군요. 멋져요. 당신 말이 맞군요, 사진이 전혀 잘 안받네요. 농담이에요.
도장이 하나도 안 찍혔네요.
Lucy : Yeah, well, I haven't gone anywhere yet. But, you know,
I'm planning a trip to Florence really soon, so, you know, I'll go.
네, 아직 가 본 곳이 없어서. 하지만 곧 피렌체로 여행 갈 계획이에요. 갈 거에요.
Jack : That'll make your dad very proud.
그럼 아버지께서 굉장히 자랑스러워 하실 거에요.
Lucy : Yeah. You know, in a very small way, you kind of remind me of him a little bit.
네, 아주 조금은, 당신 보면 아빠 모습이 떠올라요.
Jack : I see. So he was a classy guy, always a gentleman, a working man....
네, 그럼 아버진 품위 있는 분이셨군요, 늘 신사분이셨고, 열심히 일하시는…
Lucy : Who just stepped in doggy poopy. 강아지 똥이나 밟는 분이죠.
Jack : Ohh.
Lucy : That's classy. 참 품위 있으시네요.
