Yeon-jae comes back to the Line Tour office with Manager Noh,

he turns his back and grabs his ears, then commences butt-writing.

The apology session is interrupted by the arrival of Ji-wook.

Immediately Manager Noh orders Yeon-jae to leave.

 

 

 

노부장: 이연재씨 나가 봐.

Lee Yeon Jae, get out.

 

이연재: 부장님. Manager Noh.

 

노부장: 내 말 못 들었어?

Didn’t you hear me? I said get out.

아니 그만 둔 회사에 왜 자꾸 드나들어 드나들긴.

You have resigned. Why did you return, coming here for no reason?

 

강지욱: 두 분 무슨 일 있었나 봐요.

Did something happen between you two?

 

노부장: 아니 손병호씨랑 안면 좀 있다고 타래길 오픈에 힘을 좀 서 주겠네 어쩌네

하면서 저한테 얼토당토않은 일을 요구해 가지고요.

Just because she knows Mr. Son,

she is here to tell that she would help with the Son problem.

And asked me to do something ridiculous.

나 원 참 기도 안 차서…Really leave me speechless…

 

강지욱: 그래요? Really?

근데 어떡하죠?

But what are we going to do?

이연재씨가 요구한 그 얼토당토않은 일,

Those silly demands which Lee yeon Jae has made,

강지욱: 노부장님이 뇌물 받아 먹고 식당 옮길라 그랬을 때,

I heard you fought him to stick with Mr. Son.

손병호씨는 이연재씨 그만 둔 게 노부장님 때문이라고 생각해요.

Mr, Son thinks you resigned because of Manager Noh.

그러니 더더욱 협조를 안 하려는 거고.

So, that makes him even more unwilling to cooperate with us.

내가 잠깐 이연재씨 편들었다고 특별한 의미를 부여하거나,

감동을 먹는 다거나, 그럴 필요 없어요.

If you imagine that there’s a special meaning in me speaking up for you,

or if you are touched by it, stop thinking so.

이번 일은 이연재씨가 노부장님 보다 이용가치가 더 크다고 판단 한 것뿐이니까.

This time, it’s just because I think you are more useful than Manager Noh.

강지욱: 근데 노부장님한텐 왜 그러는 거에요?

But why do you treat Manager Noh that way?

 

이연재: 복수요. For revenge.

10년 동안 인간취급 못 받았는데,

For 10 years, he didn’t treat me like a human being,

잘릴까 봐 말 한마디 못해봤거든요.

But I was too afraid of being fired to speak up.

이렇게 좋은 기회가 언제 또 오겠어요.

It’s impossible to have such a good opportunity again.

 

강지욱: 십 년 동안 인간 취급 안 한 사람한테 한다는 복수가,

For your revenge against someone who has not treated you as a human

고작 엉덩이로 글씨 쓰기에요?

You just asked him to use his butt to write words?

그게 복수가 된다고 생각해요?

이연재: 그러면 뭐 따귀라도 때려요?
