Yeon jae follows Ji wook into the marina.

She hilariously follows him but refuses to actually confront him,

so she ends up running away onto a boat to avoid being seen.

He follows her onto the boat and introduces himself,

thinking that she’s the tour guide who’s supposed to show him around the island.

 

강지욱: 미스리? Miss Lee?

만나서 반가워요. It’s nice to meet you.

강지욱 입니다. I am Kang Ji Wook.

 

The boat engine starts. They lurch forward,

and he reaches his arms around her to catch her fall.

괜찮아요? Are you all right?

 

이연재: 네. Yes.

 

강지욱: 특별히 봐야 할 곳이 있어요?

Is there something in particular I have to see?

 

이연재: 어…..글쎄요.  I ‘m not sure.

 

강지욱: 그냥 바다 바람 쐬면서 기분 한 번 내 보라는 거죠.

Then I think getting some fresh air would be good.

 

이연재: 저기, 근데 여긴 어쩐 일이세요?

Hey, but… what brings you here in Okinawa?

출장?  아니면 여행?

Are you on a business trip? If not then, vacation?

 

강지욱: 관광청에서 제대로 전달 안 했나 봐요.

I think you must not have been briefed well.

여행상품 만들려고 사전 답사 온 거에요.

I came here for an on-site inspection to create a tour package.

개인적으로 여행 온 거 아니니까 안내할 때 너무 부담 안 가져도 돼요.

It’s not a personal vacation, so you don’t need to be so worried.

 

They head off to eat a particular Okinawan specialty.

She entertains him with lame Japanese-Korean language puns.

이연재: 오끼나와에 오면 꼭 한번 먹어봐야 되는 거에요.

When you come to Okinawa, you have to try it.

어때요? 맛있어요?

How is it? Is it tasty?

 

강지욱: 네, 먹을 만 하네요. Yeah, it’s edible.

이름이 뭐에요? What’s the name?

 

이연재: 이연재요. Lee yeon Jae.

 

강지욱: 아니, 이거 이름 뭐냐고요?

Not yours, the name for this dish?

 

이연재: 아, 이까수미 야끼소바.  Ikasumi Yakisoba.

 

강지욱: 네?  What?

 

이연재: 이까수미 야끼소바.  Ikasumi Yakisoba. (Squid ink fried noodle)

일본어 발음 이 좀 웃기긴 한데요.

Its Japanese name may appear funny at first, but…

이거 보다 더 웃긴 이름이 많은데.

일본에서 가장 방귀를 잘 뀌는 사람 이름이 뭔지 아세요?

Do you know the Japanese person who farts very well?

아까끼고 또끼고. Akakigo Tokigo (He farted and farted again.)

입이 웃겨요. Your mouth is black. It’s funny.

 

강지욱: 그쪽도 만만치 않거든요. Yours isn’t any different.

 

이연재: 그럼 제 입 때문에 웃은 거에요?

So, did you laugh because of my mouth?

 

강지욱: 그럼 “아까끼고 또끼고” 때문에 웃었겠어요?

So, you thought that I was laughing because of your “Akakigo Tokigo” joke?

 

They return to the hotel.

강지욱: 숙소 여기 잡은 이유 혹시 나 때문이에요?

Are you staying here because of me?

 

이연재: 네? 아뇨. What? No.

제가 그 정도 스토커짓 할 사람은 아니에요.

I’m not that stalking type.

*You can't be creepy stalking guy, okay? 넌 소름 끼치는 스토커 짓을 하면 안 돼.

/She's mentally stalking me. 정신적으로 스토킹을 하고 있어요.

제가 뭐 본부장님을…본부장님을 일본에 오실 줄은 몰랐던 거죠.

Well…about your coming to Japan…I have no idea about it.

 

강지욱: 다행이네요. 난 혹시 관광청에서 나 때문에 여기 묶여 있나 신경 쓰였거든요.

Well, that’s a relief. I thought that the tourism authority wanted you

to be with me the whole time.

집은 어디에요? Where do you live?

 

이연재: 가깝지는 않아요. It’s not that close.

 

강지욱: 오끼나와에 줄 곧 살았어요?

Did you live in Okinawa long?

 

이연재: 제가 드릴 말씀이 있는데요. I have something to say to you.

본부장님이 생각하는 그 미스 리가 제가 아닐 수도 있어요.

I may not be the Miss Lee who you think I am.

 

강지욱: 무슨 소리에요 그게? What do you mean by that?

 

이연재: 그러니까 그게… I mean…

 

현지 가이드: 강지욱씨? 어떻게 된 거에요?

Mr. Kang ji Wook? What is going on?

전화기도 꺼져있고. Your phone is turned off.

연락이 안 돼서 하루 종일 얼마나 곤란했는 줄 알아요?

I couldn’t reach you.

Do you know how many times I tried to contact you?

 

강지욱: 누구시죠? Who are you?

 

현지 가이드: 오늘 강지욱씨를 안내하기로 한 이주영이에요.
