Narrator Gabrielle was waiting for her next great idea.
Her first great idea came when she was fifteen
after her stepfather paid her a late-night visit.
She bought a bus ticket to New York the very next day.
Her next occurred five years later
when she decided to seduce a famous fashion photographer.
One week later, she began her career as a runway model,
which soon led to her next great idea…her decision to marry Carlos Solis.
Before she knew it, she had jumped off the runway and moved to the suburbs.
Her most recent great idea was born out of her boredom with her new life.
That's how she came to start an affair with her teenage gardener,
which was cut short by a tragic accident.
So once again, Gabrielle was in need of a great idea.

첫 번째 해결책은 열 다섯 때 자신의 새 아버지가 늦은 밤 자신의

그 다음은 5년 뒤 유명한 사진 작가를 유혹하기로 했을 때였다.
일주일 뒤에 패션모델 일을 시작했고, 그 일은 곧 다음 계획으로 이어졌는데...
카를로스 솔리스와의 결혼 결심이었다. 어느 새 가브리엘은 무대에서 내려와
교외로 이사를 했다. 가장 최근의 해결책은 새로운 삶에 대한 권태로움에서
잉태되었다. 그렇게 해서 자신의 십대 정원사와 불륜이 시작되고, 그 불륜은
비극적 사건으로 짧은 수명을 다하고 만다.
그래서 다시 한번 가브리엘은 해결책이 필요했다.

Nurse You look sad. I assume you're thinking about your mother-in-law.

Nurse So, uh, what were you thinking about?

Gabrielle My life. It hasn't turned out like I thought it would.

Do you ever feel that way?
아니, 알아요, 배부른 소리 한다는 거. 뭔가가 빠져 있는데 그게 뭔지 모르겠어요.
그런 기분 들 때 있어요?
Nurse Hmmm, no. When I go home at night, I sleep like a baby,
because I know I did something that day that helped people.
아뇨. 전 밤에 집에 가면 아기처럼 잠이 잘 와요. 그 날도 내가 사람들에게
도움이 되는 일을 했구나 하는 기분 때문이죠.
